Right-wing Nutters: In the wake of the Tuscon shooting

The gunning down of an democratically elected congresswoman in broad daylight goes to show just how radical and polarized politics have become. And although there are some crazy people on the left, it's the political right that are the masters of seeding political hate and fear amongst their supporters.

I've had a read over some conservative leaning forums, news sites and blogs. And I came away with a sense of how these people think. They live in a world of political black and white, where the government is evil (a Democratic one), liberals are loathed, Glenn Beck is never wrong, Obama is a Kenyan, the political left are the ones to blame for everything and the right wing are the 'victim'.

Now; I know there is crazies on both sides of the political divide; but this bubble; this constructed fantasy world void of facts and rational thought they live in is pretty scary stuff. Here are some of the cases I can find of the right wing showing their true colors.

The killing of George Tiller

Tiller the baby killer as he was called by the right wing. He performed late-term abortions; a horrible thing indeed but sometimes needed to save the life of the mother. But the fanatical right wing would have you believe that Tiller was providing this service, not to help people, but to enjoy in the murder of the unborn. He was constantly hounded by right wing fanatics for years, was shot in both arms in 1993. But they never let up and sadly on the 31 of May 2009 he was shot to death by the pro-life activist (ironic) Scott Roeder.

Back when Obama was the Democratic Party presidential nominee, these two Nazi sacks of shit, plotted to kill the would be president and in addition kill about 88 black people by attacking a mostly black populated school or civic area. 88 is a significant number in white supremacist movement, in short is means Heil Hitler. Thankfully their crazy plot was averted before they had the chance to kill anyone.

Right wing fanatic, Dyer

Also known as July4Patriot on youtube, this guy had a role in connecting a right wing group called the "Oath Keepers" to the Tea Party Movement. He posted paranoid anti-government rhetoric on his youtube channel and appears to have bought into conspiracy theories such as the New World Order and that global warming is a hoax. Pretty typical right wing nut so far, but when he was arrested on charges of alleged child rape police searching his home, uncovered a stolen Colt M-203, 40-millimeter grenade launcher. Well I'm no expert on guns, but I don't think people go deer hunting with grenade launchers. A quote from Dyer talking about his military training and referring to a government report on threats from right wing militias...

Some role model huh? I'm not 100% sure what the outcome of the alleged child rape was, I could not find if any charges where brought.

And to sum up we can't forget about those radical teabaggers who turned up at townhall meetings during the healthcare debate with pistols, rifles and hateful placards. Here are some of my favorite ones.
